Unique domain name registration (yourname.com) with the InterNIC is available through QGM at the rates set forth in our rate schedule. QGM will handle the complete registration process, as well as dealing with the InterNIC regarding such issues as billing, DNS servers, and other technical matters.

Ownership - QGM administers, maintains and registers your domain, but you own it. If in the future your corporation decides to purchase it's own server and staff and discontinue services with QGM the domain name is easily transferrable to access your server invisible to users on the web, thus eliminating a sudden "disappearance" of your company from the Web.

This is for checking status of .COM, .NET, .EDU and .ORG Domains only.

The only valid characters for a domain name are letters, numbers and a hyphen. Special characters like the underscore (_) or an exclamation mark (!) are NOT permitted. Domain names cannot contain spaces or begin or end with a hyphen.

A domain name can now be be up to 63 characters long PLUS the 4 characters used to identify the Top Level Domain (.NET, .COM, .ORG, or .EDU).

Domain mapping

Additional domains may also be mapped to your web site (or subdirectories of your site). In other words, both yourname.com AND yourname2.com could both arrive at the same website. This is useful for securing all those domain names which could potentially represent your company, products, etc.
